How do I log into the ETA Education Portal?

To log in to the ETA Education Portal, please click the login button on the left side of the ETA Education Portal screen. From here, you will be prompted to enter your Impexium credentials. You created these credentials the first time you interacted with the ETA. If you cannot remember your credentials, simply go to the Forgot Password section of the login screen. If you do not have an Impexium account, you can easily create one by clicking Create Account, which will allow you to access both the Membership Portal and the Education Portal.

Can I purchase and take courses if I am not an ETA member?

Yes, ETA courses are for everyone, whether you are a member or not. ETA members receive a discount on course fees. If you are interested in applying to become an ETA member, please email our Director of Membership John Losh at jlosh@electran.org.

How do I update my profile information?

To update the information on your profile, please email education@electran.org with your updated information. ETA’s education team will promptly update your information.

How do I change my password?

To change your password, go to etau.electran.org, click the login button, and click here to reset your password link to update your password.

How do I launch a course?

You can launch the course from your Dashboard tab, which can be accessed on the left side of the screen. When you have selected the course that you want to launch, click View Course on your target component. Please note that the View Course option is available only for unlocked components.

Do I have to complete a course in one sitting?

You do not need to complete a course in one sitting. Because all courses are fully online and on demand, they can be taken at your own pace. Your progress is saved so you can pause the course and continue it at your convenience. You may stop and save your progress at any point during the course, except for the final assessment component. The final exam component must be taken in one sitting.

How do I pass a course?

To pass a course, you must complete every component and pass the final assessment. When you have successfully completed the course and its requirements, you will be sent an email that includes links to your completion certificate and digital badge.

How many attempts do I have to pass?

You may take the final assessment as many times as necessary.

How long do I have access to my course?

The course is open to you until it retires. You can use it as a resource and review and refresh your knowledge at your convenience. The ETA will provide you with a three-month notice before a course retires.

Can I retake a course to refresh my knowledge?

Yes, you may retake a course to refresh your knowledge. You can access your course until it is retired, and you may review it as many times as you wish.

How do I take advantage of my special member pricing?

If you are an ETA member, the member pricing will be automatically applied once you log in. Please use the email address that you registered with the ETA, as your email domain triggers member pricing in the system. You will see only the membership prices when you browse and check out. You do not need to take additional steps to ensure that you have been charged the discounted price.

Can more than one person use the same credential to take the course?

No, the courses are only for individual use. To receive the certification showing that you passed the course, you must purchase the course using your own log-in information and complete all components by yourself. These courses are intended for individual use and are not shared.
