The course is fully online and can be taken at the individual’s own pace. The four modules are expected to take approximately four hours to complete. Because progress in the course is saved, individuals can return to the material at their convenience.

    The following concepts are introduced in this course: payment methods and how they work, payment choices, key players, roles and responsibilities, and point of sale. 

    Before you begin this course, we recommend that you have headphones, a notebook, and a pen or pencil at hand. The course includes a voiceover, so a set of headphones is particularly helpful. ETA’s payment courses have accessibility features that can be activated for your convenience.

    The course consists of four modules and a final exam. Each module is locked until the previous module is completed, and the final exam is not unlocked until all four modules are completed. When you have passed your final exam, you will automatically receive your CPE credits and gain access to a certificate of completion that you may print, download, and share with your social media platforms. You will also receive a verifiable digital badge of completion to share with your network, employers, and customers. To begin the first module, click on the course, and click the View Course button on the right side of the module. The course will open in a new window, so ensure that your pop-up blocker does not prevent it from opening. When you begin the course, the menu list will appear on the top left, which will allow you to access any slide that you have already completed. The next button is on the bottom right, which allows you to move to the next slide. However, it may not appear unless you have completed all the interactions on the current slide. The play button, repeat button, playback speed options, and volume slider are on the bottom bar.
